Weekly Game Update: August 28th - September 3rd, 2022
Well, the end of another week. I honestly couldn’t tell you match about what happened this week… It existed I guess? Oh I guess I started another game though… but I swear it’s super short! It won’t be on my playing list for very long lol.
Other than that, I don’t think the week was particularly productive or interesting so let’s just get into the updates I guess lol.
Book Stuff
The Tea Enthusiast’s Handbook (Mary Lou Heiss and Robert J. Heiss) - 94/181 pgs
No progress. Again lol.
Stars Above (Marissa Meyer) - 28/369 pgs
I started this short story collection in the Lunar Chronicles series. Only barely started and haven’t even finished the first story yet lol. Seems not to bad so far. It’s a little bit of backstory on one of the main characters so that’s always neat.
Art Before Breakfast (Danny Gregory) - 23/159 pgs
So one of my other main hobbies is drawing, so here I am reading a book about fitting time for drawing into small chunks of your day. It's basically a bunch of tips, motivation, and exercises to do. I wouldn’t normally read through these sorts of art reference type books, but it has a fair amount of text in it so I’m counting it I guess.
I just started, so I haven’t done too many of the exercises quite yet. I do like the book so far though. Reading this will be a little on the slow side, but I’m doing the exercises as I get to them, and it’s not really intended to be a “sit down and just read” type book anyway lol.

Everybody’s Golf
I’ve just been fishing. Yep.
I have to catch quite a lot of fish for one particular trophy, so I’m expecting that it will be a bit of a grind… I’m focusing on doing this before doing much else cause a majority of the fish can only be caught in the online mode. It’s a pretty simple fishing mini-game, but I don’t mind much. I like fishing in video games! It’s also a nice change of pace from all the golf grinding lol.
Tappingo
A replay! I have no idea why I just decided to pick it up (especially since I already have a large playing list …), but here weo go?
Tappingo is a pretty simple little puzzle game, where you’re revealing a picture with this line thingies I guess? I’m not sure how to describe it, but it’s a nice puzzle game that scratches a similar itch to picross.
It is a very short game though and I’m actually almost done already lol. Should probably finish it tonight.
Genshin Impact
Doing more story quests in the Sumeru update. There’s just so many quests! I’ve been ignoring doing the various stuff to upgrade my characters though, so I should probably sprinkle that in next time I play a bit more.
Meow Tower: Nonogram Cute Cats
Picross, picross, picross. Just keep on plugging away at this, helping the cats furnish their homes. There are 15 cats total right now, and I think I only have 3 or 4 left that still need furniture. That’s not many left!
Not quite sure how long it will take (it depends on how many tuna cans I need, cause some furniture is more expensive than others), but I’m pretty sure I'll be finished with this one soon. Well, for now anyway lol. The game is still getting updates, so I’m sure there will be new cats at some point, but the last update wasn’t that long ago so it will probably be a while.

I did a big push to add in the rest of the PS Plus games to the backlog, so now I’m done! Woo! I doubt I will be doing such a massive backlog add in the future, since I don’t see myself adding another subscription into the pile lol.
It’s certainly a bit pile of games, but I hope I find some good stuff in there :)
And that’s it! Nothing too particularly exciting, but that’s how it goes sometimes lol. I would really love to get back into Trails in the Sky for next week, but I keep saying that and it doesn’t happen ugh. Well see though I guess!
